Fastlane Fitness (previously called Club Cardio) has been owned locally for over 10 years. Our staff are fun, friendly and passionate about what they do, and what you do! We tailor our service to meet individual goals, from the weekend warrior completing their first triathlon or social run to the person who just wants to get more healthy.

My passion is to see people smile and achieve their goals. I am an avid sports person, playing a wide range of sports and with my academic background I am able to apply basic and advanced principles in order for people to succeed.

Rebecca - Life Coach
As your coach, Rebecca will become your own personal cheerleader for your life. She will be an advocate for you to ensure you are living the life that you truly desire. Rebecca will provide you with ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that will improve your health and happiness. She will listen to you carefully and help you to determine what changes are necessary for you. Together you will explore your specific concerns whether they be in your relationships, career, health and wellness, wealth, self-love, education, spirituality and more. Then Rebecca will support you with the tools you require to live a life that you love.

I love what I do, health and fitness is a big passion of mine. Working in a gym as a gym instructor and personal trainer has always been a dream job of mine. I am a motivated person and am completely dedicated in helping people drop their dress sizes, tone, increase muscle mass and reach their health and fitness goals! I don’t just love what I do, I live it too. When I’m not working or working out, I love spending my time in the outdoors having adventures such as hiking, camping, caving and all types of water sports.
I have been working for Club Cardio and Fastlane Fitness since 2011.

My biggest passion is motivating people to push themselves, and to help them achieve things they never thought they would have been able to! Making changes isn't always easy but when you have someone there to help you it makes things a little easier. I am that person you can come to, to help motivate you and push you on those days that you just don't want to workout.
I love taking group exercise classes and seeing people enjoying their workouts, even when they tell me they hate it at the time, secretly I know they enjoy it. I am new to the industry and am loving and taking every opportunity to have to upskill myself and learn more, so that I can show you more.

Health and fitness should be enjoyable not only for myself but for the members as well. That's why I want to make exercise as fun as possible for members, introduce healthier recipes of meals they already love and more importantly to have a laugh with them to make reaching their goals that little bit easier! When I'm not busy making workouts fun for members, I enjoy running longish distances and experimenting with new recipes!.

Rachael - Pilates Instructor
Rachael Pugh is a certified Polestar Pilates instructor having been introduced to it through her dance training. It became a natural fit for the scholarship recipient from the New Zealand School of Dance and a former member of the Royal New Zealand Ballet Company. She knows through experience the multifaceted benefits of Pilates. The body is a finely tuned instrument and her dance background gives Rachael a lifetime understanding of it. She loves the close relationship between Pilates and dance and is keen to pass on her sound knowledge using longstanding proven techniques to people of all age groups.
As well as teaching classes and private lessons for Blue Mat Pilates, Rachael is also a registered teacher (Distinction) with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has been teaching ballet and contemporary dance for over 10 years.
Jerrica - Yoga Instructor
During the first session of her Yoga practice Jerrica experienced a sense of silence and happiness, which she had never experienced before. Walking out of the room, she knew that Yoga would be her life. She led a hectic corporate life before becoming a Yoga Teacher. Yoga had helped her to balance her life and enhance her health.
She completed Yoga Instructor Certification Course with SVYASA Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, Diploma in Yoga Therapy with SVYASA Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana and Vision of Yoga Teachers Training with Pure Yoga and is a Reiki level 2 Practitioner.
Her interest to Yoga led her to explore into the world of Ayurveda. In 2011 she completed a Certification in Ayurvedic Principles Course with Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College and research centre. Her classes follow the system of stimulation and relaxation to promote overall wellness for the participants. She had been teaching for 4 years and is a 200hrs certified Yoga Alliance teacher.

From a young age I have trained and competed throughout a variety of sports, including freestyle wrestling, kickboxing, Mixed Martial arts and bodybuilding. These disciplines have given me drive to change people's lives with health and fitness, as it has done for me. I am a very disciplined and a determined individual who loves to go over and beyond to help others achieve their goals.

Having championship national level experience with wrestling and bodybuilding, I specialize in mass building and weight loss/nutrition as well as strength and conditioning.
Erin Furness - Trainer external
I have over 10 years experience in the fitness industry running my own personal training and coaching business, as well as this, I also train full time as a professional triathlete.
I am passionate about working with people to improve their quality of life through exercise and lifestyle balance. I also work with some of Waikato's best physiotherapists and podiatrists to help rehabilitate individuals with injury so they can continue to pursue their chosen sport.
As a coach, I focus on triathletes and runners, from newbies in the sport right through to athletes racing at World Championship level. I have also worked with cyclists, rowers, basketball players, squash players and shooters.
I believe in working closely with my clients to make their training as effective and as enjoyable as possible. Results are inevitable.

David McLean - Trainer external
I've worked in the Health and Fitness industry for over 10 years and have always been involved with sport on a personal level, previously with rugby and currently through Crossfit and Olympic Lifting. It's a driver for me working with people who each have a different goal to achieve and it's a really rewarding challenge seeing the way their lives are changed throughout the journey. I have had a lot of experience with weight-loss and rehabilitation and focus on the importance of educating clients on lifestyle changes, as well as what we do in the gym. There is never a one-size fits-all answer to achieving fitness goals, so I am always keen to ensure training is constantly varied, exciting and measurable.
